Manually Actuated
Offers leak-tight on/off control for various medias. Pipe connections 1/4” to 2” Female NPT screwed end. Optional BSPT available by request. Valves can be manual or automated. Manual handle options include a latching, lockable lever to prevent accidental openings/closings with the ability to lock in the open or closed position, and compact oval and wing styles.
For automated valve requirements, electric and pneumatic actuators are available. Manually actuated valves can be converted to automated without removing the valve from service.
Advantages
Unlike commodity valves, ours are made from durable barstock. Glass Reinforced Teflon® (PTFE) seals are standard to meet the widest variety of medias and temperatures. Seals are machined vs. molded which creates uniform valve operating torque. A self-compensating stem seal design ensures long, leak-tight, maintenance-free service.

Electrically Actuated
Ideal for automation where no air supply is available for a pneumatically actuated valve, or if slower index time is needed. If there is high velocity/pressure, actuation can minimize or prevent ‘water hammer,’ which occurs if a valve closes quickly at the end of a pipeline system.
Actuators use voltage to power valve on/off. Once it reaches full open/close position, internal cam switches turn off motor. Wiring terminal block enables position feedback with motor voltage. An optional set of limit switches are available to connect to voltages other than motor for position feedback or to power other devices. Fold-out manual override can be used during power failure. Once power resumes, it returns to original position.
Advantages
Designed for durability and longevity, the Teflon® coated cast aluminum base dissipates internal heat through a special thermal conductor that pulls heat from the motor for cooler operation during heavy cycle operations.
Maintenance-free, permanently lubricated drive train and brushless motor in a NEMA 4X sealed enclosure protect again moisture and contamination. All AC motors use auto-resetting thermal overload circuits. Our Electric Actuators feature a stainless steel trim and Dupont® FR50 cover for maximum corrosion resistance.

Pneumatically Actuated
Our Pneumatic Actuators feature a rack and pinion design for quick on/off operations. A solenoid or related device is required for operation. Air can be piloted by direct mount solenoid valves having NAMUR interfaces or remotely piloted via means of 1/8” NPT female threaded ports in the actuator interface plate.
Two pneumatic styles are offered: Double-acting, which uses air to move pistons in both directions and spring-return which uses air to move pistons in one direction and springs in the other. Double-acting is the most popular since it offers a compact size and longest service life at the lowest cost. Limit switches are available for all models to remotely denote valve positon or to connect with other devices.
Advantages
A special rack and pinion design supports extended service life and precise machining assures 90° rotation without external adjustment. Actuator bodies manufactured from lightweight aluminum with Teflon® impregnated hard anodized surfaces and stainless steel hardware provides excellent corrosion resistance. Actuators are maintenance-free and permanently lubricated with no airline lubrication needed. Mounting system precisely couples the actuator drive shaft to the stem, and the valve stem nut is fixed within the actuator shaft. These products minimize backlash, ensure optimum stem seal life and prevent stem nut back off.
