The Gemini Model 309 is a 90° (quarter-turn) 3-port ball valve designed to maintain bubble-tight performance throughout its pressure-temperature range when used as a diverter or as a selector valve.

Diverter service directs a fluid from a common port to either of two discharge ports. Selector service provides a common output port for two distinct input ports.

It should be noted that two of the three ports are either fully or partially open as the valve is rotated and, therefore, has no fully ‘closed’ (zero flow) position.
